Developing the Skeletons [ Concept to Concentrate ]

Skeleton Blueprints

In the previous episode of Concept to Concentrate – which if you haven’t seen it click here – we were looking around for inspiration for our new recipe. We landed upon a movie called Good Time, which featured heavily neon-ed scenes that we wanted to see if we could emulate in an e-liquid. In today’s episode, we start to actually take those inspirations and develop them into a working recipe. In the video, you can see we took the color palate that we made, and translated each color into a specific flavor profile. Then we took that flavor profile, and broke them down into flavors we thought, not only matched, but also worked well together.

From there, we used some generic %’s, focusing more on  balance and gaining a general understanding of the flavor. Made two different batches, and then tested them side by side. We got lucky, and were able to get damn close to what we had in mind, with the “Vaporwave” aesthetic. Now all we need to do, is fine tune these recipes, make sure we can clearly portray our idea, and then send them out to beta testers. Below are the recipes we mixed up in the video

  1. I love this retrowave/vaporwave idea for a concentrate! Another thing to potentially explore with your green color pallet if you totally want to meme out on the vaporwave aesthetic could be a green tea flavoring. Just a thought!
