Strawberry Yogurt is a very popular profile that dominated the industry a few years ago. So is TFA’s new yogurt good…years late?
TFA Peanut Butter is one of the best PB’s on the market. What’s interesting is that TFA created a DX version which seems to pack even more usefulness out of it. Check out my review here!
Papaya is an exotic tropical fruit that holds more flavor on the veggie side, than it does on the fruit side. But that’s not entirely the case for TFA Papaya. Check out my full notes and review here, as well as recipe examples, on how best to use TFA Papaya.
Flavor Profile: Cranberry is a flavor that is often overlooked. If we look at the entire Cranberry library available to us in DIY, we’d find that one, there aren’t that many, and two, there are even less that are actually good. So where does TFA’s cranberry offering sit? Well to me, it’s one of the better cranberry flavorings, though its far, far, far away from perfect. One of the first things I want to state about this flavor, is that… Continue Reading
Flavor Profile: Waffles have been in vaping for quite some time. Definitely one of the more popular profiles. TFA’s Waffle unfortunately, for me, just doesn’t quite do it. Right from the smell, somethings off. Give it a whiff and you’ll notice it smells much more buttery, or oily, with a faint hint of bakery in the back. But it’s pungent and off-putting, which leads into the flavor. I can’t quite put my finger on exactly what the flavor is, but… Continue Reading
Flavor Profile: Corn Flakes or better yet, frosted flakes, are a common cereal we’ve all had before. Engrained in our brains is the sweet, corny, crispy morsels these cereals provide. So a flavoring has a lot to live up to in order to reach the same potential the cereal has. Unfortunately, TFA’s Sweet Cereal Flakes does not live up to its predecessor. Upon opening, the bottle smells exactly like frosted flakes, but that’s where it about ends in terms of authenticity.… Continue Reading
Flavor Profile: Raspberry has always been pretty much hit or miss in DIY. In fact, for the most part, they’re all a miss. TFA Sweet Raspberry is a very popular raspberry because it does pack some tolerable raspberry flavor, without introducing too many off-notes or weird quirks. But notice how I’m being very condescending to the flavor, mainly because, it’s not that good. So the flavor profile matches a red raspberry, but there is a bit of juiciness that helps add… Continue Reading
Flavor Profile: TFA Orange Mandarin has been a very pleasant flavoring to use. The flavor to me reminds me of a cross between a fresh tangerine or mandarin, with just a light squeeze of traditional Florida orange. If I were to compare it to a flavoring, maybe CAP Juicy Orange and FA Mandarin mixed together, which is not a bad thing at all. But it does have a unique quality about it that makes it stand on its own. It’s bright… Continue Reading
Flavor Profile: Caramel isn’t easy, especially in vaping. As I’m sure you can tell since there isn’t one caramel flavoring on the market that captures the velvety, sticky, soft nature of a melted caramel. But what I think TFA does with Caramel Candy is interesting. Instead of going after that “soft-crack” state, they decide to stick to the caramel hard candy profile. And with that, I think they do a great job. The entire top of the flavor is that light… Continue Reading
