New Beginnings
When I started DIYorDIE, I never in a million years expected for it to get as big as it has gotten. The first video was taken from my living room in my old house before my move to Philadelphia, and every video after has been in the comfort of my own dwellings. This was actually new to me. I never really “worked” from home before. Waking up and going to sleep in the same place I would work had its pros and cons. But to be honest, it started intrude. That clear line between work and play started to thin. Spending all hours of the day in my apartment starts to get at you. It was only until recently that I started looking for places to put my business. The problem was that…I worked from home! It’s a blessing and a curse and it was difficult for me to wrap my head around paying high rent prices for an office, when I could just work from home for “free”. Luckily for me, I’ve found a deal that was too good to be true and I had to take the offer. And with that being said, I’m finally moving DIYorDIE out of the house and into a real office space. And I couldn’t be more happy.

What does this mean?
Nothing really. You will still get the same excellent DIY Mixing content from DIYorDIE and you will still get the same excellent videos and podcasts. But now I have a dedicated place to do all this stuff. Being able to set up my own kind of “studio” for my videos without intruding on Kate’s home decor means better videos and ambiance. And having a dedicated spot for mixing will allow me to organize all my ingredients in a way that I just couldn’t before. And lastly, I’ll have my own dedicated office spot that I can use for meetings, co-ops, events, and other office things. Ultimately, I’ll be more focused. Like I said, that line between work and play is a very important line between your sanity. And in the last few months, it’s become draining. With this new acquisition I’ve gotten this surge of inspiration and vigilance, and I can’t wait to produce more awesome content for you all. DIYorDIE has come a very long way and it’s easily one of my most proud accomplishments. So I couldn’t be any happier with this new expansion and you all will benefit from this new revitalize Wayne.
Hi Wayne, I emailed you about my difficulties trying to pay for a membership. Hopefully you see this message and can get me squared away. I’ve tried paying using both my Windows desktop and my iPad, to no avail. It appears that the link to “pay with a credit card” is dead. I no longer have a Paypal account so that option is not there. Or, what am I missing? I would be willing to snail mail you a check if that would work. Thanks! Brian G Heck “[email protected]”
