TFA Caramel Candy

Flavor Profile: Caramel isn’t easy, especially in vaping. As I’m sure you can tell since there isn’t one caramel flavoring on the market that captures the velvety, sticky, soft nature of a melted caramel. But what I think TFA does with Caramel Candy is interesting. Instead of going after that “soft-crack” state, they decide to stick to the caramel hard candy profile. And with that, I think they do a great job. The entire top of the flavor is that light… Continue Reading

Caramel Hunter: Search For Soft Crack

I’ve talked about caramel before. There’s a long post in InTheMix Magazine, which you can get the full collection here, about caramel and the difficulty of getting the flavor down correctly. Like I stated in the article, the difference between the “soft crack” state of caramel and hard crack state is vital to the success of the flavor. And with the soft crack state being the most delicious rendition of caramel, it’s unfortunately the most difficult to recreate. But I’ve… Continue Reading

TFA RY4 Double

Flavor Profile: This flavoring is awesome, and has quickly found itself in my ADV’s after finding out exactly how to use it. The flavor of RY4 is interesting. The Ruyan Scale measure the level of tobacco in a flavoring. From RY1 being the more heavily tobacco based, up to RY4 which is less tobacco based and leans more towards caramel. RY4 Double I would assume is more Caramel x 2. This flavoring has a rich, deep caramel flavor that resembles the… Continue Reading

TFA Caramel Cappuccino

Flavor Profile: Without a doubt, one of the best and most vivid coffees that are out. But beware, this flavoring is difficult to work with. Speaking on flavor, I get a creamy almost “dunkin donuts” like coffee, where the roast is a bit nutty and light. I don’t get too much of that burnt flavor, which is a great thing, though if you’re a fan of black coffee, this won’t be your cup of tea…erhmm coffee. There’s no grit, no earth,… Continue Reading

CAP Chocolate Caramel Nut

Flavor Profile: Wow, just wow. For every one terrible Capella flavor, there are 3 amazingly complex and delicious ones. This is one of those flavorings that you find and you immediately want to use. What this flavoring tries to be is a rich milk chocolate bar, filled with gooey caramel and almonds. And boy oh boy did they fucking nail it. During my chocolate hunt of 2016, this was one of the flavorings I picked up. After a “back of the… Continue Reading
