CAP Sweet Mango

Capella’s Sweet Mango, much like a lot of their fruits, have been making their way a lot more into my mixes, the more I use them. As FLV’s Mango dominated recipes in 2017, many have left behind Capella’s offering. But after much use, I find I enjoy it a bit more, and it might take the throne as my favorite mango at the time of this writing. Flavor Profile: CAP Sweet Mango is much like all the other mangoes available… Continue Reading

CAP Fuji Apple

Flavor Profile: Capella does a really great job with Apple in my opinion. We all know how I feel about their excellent Double Apple, and I’m happy to say, I’m also really happy with CAP Fuji. The flavor is a mix between a bright crisp Fuji apple, and the subtle pear-like body of Double Apple, all with a nice lingering finish. If you took FA Fuji, and added some true apple texture and body to it, while also taking away some… Continue Reading

CAP Double Apple

Flavor Profile: Capella has created one of my favorite, most useful ingredients with Double Apple. Let’s jump right into the flavor. First thing I do want to note is that this flavorings potency seems a bit light. It’s not airy, there’s definitely a great amount of flavor from this concentrate. But just the profile itself is on the lighter side. Speaking on the flavor profile, I’m not really sure what CAP means by “Double” apple. What I personally get is a… Continue Reading

CAP Golden Pineapple

Flavor Profile: CAP’s Golden Pineapple is a pleasant fruit flavoring that tropical fruit lovers will find a joy to use. In the pineapple world, this isn’t going to blow your socks off, and in terms of flavor, it’s not the most vivid. I enjoy the flavor profile that comes from this flavoring and further more, I think it’s one of the easiest tropicals to blend with because of its lighter nature. The profile I get is a fresh pineapple flavor that’s… Continue Reading

CAP Chocolate Caramel Nut

Flavor Profile: Wow, just wow. For every one terrible Capella flavor, there are 3 amazingly complex and delicious ones. This is one of those flavorings that you find and you immediately want to use. What this flavoring tries to be is a rich milk chocolate bar, filled with gooey caramel and almonds. And boy oh boy did they fucking nail it. During my chocolate hunt of 2016, this was one of the flavorings I picked up. After a “back of the… Continue Reading

CAP Glazed Doughnut

Flavor Profile: Everyone knows the success of Capella’s Chocolate Glazed Doughnut. They have done a really great job of encompassing all the flavors it needs to, to produce a well layered and intricate doughnut with chocolate glazed a top. Unfortunately, if you’re looking for a plain glazed doughnut, Capella doesn’t deliver. In terms of flavor, what I get is a weird plastic, Playdoh like flavor, mixed in with the terribly artificial sugar, and some elements of stale bread. It’s easily the most disappointing flavor… Continue Reading

CAP Lemon Lime

Testing Setup: RDA Velocity /  Coil – 6 Wrap Single Fused Kanthal Clapton 2×26 core 32 wrap @ 45w  Steep Time: 4 weeks % Used: 5% –  PG/VG 50/50 – NIC 0% Flavor Profile: This one should be pretty self-explanatory, but that’s not going to cut it so here we go a a bitter and bright lime lemon flavor, I put it in that order because they taste the lime first with a lemon background. This is a great citrus fruity juicy along… Continue Reading
