FLV RY4 Review & 3 Fruit Blends | Midweek Critique

SensoryOverload – Chappleade (WINNER)

SensoryOverload drops me his “Chappleade” recipe which is a Cherry, Apple, Lemon Spritzer type recipe. The top of the vape brings a nice tart cherry note that follows with a smooth apple body, and is finished with a bright tangy lemon soda like mix. I really enjoyed the flavor from this recipe. The cherry and apple pair up to create a nice vivid flavor and the specific ingredients chose – the SSA Cherries and FA Stark – are really on point. This is then followed by a nice lemon spritzer. I also really enjoyed the softness the vanilla brought. But I am some what bored of these “soda” types. The recipe doesn’t really do anything new in this regard, and is a forgettable flavor overall.

Final Score:

3 / 5

DanielTheVapeMan – Morning Walk

Daniel becomes a victim for the first time on Midweek Critique. This recipe, “Morning Walk”, brings a florally, fruit, tropical type mix. The flavor profile brings a Hibiscus like body, pairs it up with some juicy cactus and honeysuckle, and finishes with a light raspberry / strawberry. Unfortunately, the mix is a bit too vague and muddled. There’s nothing that really stands out from the recipe. I’d much rather the hibiscus be the captain of the train, driving the entire profile. But instead, they are all packed on the same train. A bit more balancing and focusing would do this recipe a ton of good.

Final Score:

3 / 5

Mesh3al White – Blue Myth

Finally we have a new victim, Mesh3al White, with Blue Myth. This recipe aims to take CAP Sweet Currant and infuse it into the Heisenberg profile. The flavor is CAP Sweet Currant, front and center, driving the profile with light berry notes and anise on the finish. It’s tasty. But unfortunately the Sweet Currant is far too over powering. The Anise is barely present, and the berry is hidden under the entire weight of the mix. Some strong balancing will really help define this vague recipe.

Final Score:

3 / 5
