So one of the biggest complaints on DIYorDIE was its search. Users have always found it difficult to navigate, and find the information they need. Well, I’ve recently updated the website with a more expansive and accurate search feature. You can find these search bars on the home page, as well as in the sidebar of each post (in mobile, it’s down towards the bottom after the article). This should cut down on the time needed to find information. For instance, in the image above, typing in ( CAP ) brings up Capella FlavorBook entries, and recipes using CAP flavorings. It’s still not perfect, but I will continue to update the search function, as well as update this post to add new search implementations.
